Hobbies: Comics Marvel and DC, movies, anime, reading, Zumba, yoga, Tai Chi and drama. 

Even as a young child I was always conjuring up stories and poems, filling them with colorful characters, sometimes sharing them with any friends or family who will listen. Since then, I’ve progressed quite a bit to formulating longer and more complex stories and sharing them with much larger audiences. As a storyteller, I’m adept at using my imaginative thinking and creative flair to bring my stories to life in engaging and entertaining ways.  I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised to be a strong woman. In 2007, I published my first children's book, MY RAINBOW FAMILY, under the pen name of K.R. Vance. 

I blend multicultural characters into my stories. 
I was inspired to write interracial romance due to my own interracial marriage and relationships. I began writing in the  romance genre in 2008 and I am an avid reader of D. Renee Bagby, L.Loren, Sonja B., Laurell K. Hamilton, Rae Lori, Ann Rice, Siren Allen, Siera London, and Charlaine Harris. 

Every so often, I reinvent myself. I never stop learning, growing or changing, all to be a better me. I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. I have traveled most of the US and visited the Caribbean Islands, The Dominican Republic and Mexico, but there is no place without my family that I want to call home.
